In 2012 Benjie founded Arx Urban, a $100M technology-enabled real estate investment firm focused on acquiring generational assets in urban markets. Arx Urban utilizes progressive strategies to source, operate, and capitalize its assets—technology, sustainability and community unlock value for all of the firm’s stakeholders. Arx Urban’s commitment to generational investment, in contrast to real estate speculation, provide stability for local communities as well as perpetual income for investors. Benjie is a thought leader in the real estate crowdfunding industry, capitalizing over $30M in real estate acquisitions on various crowdfunding portals.
Prior to founding Arx Urban, Benjie acquired and oversaw a $1+ billion real estate portfolio across the country while working at Atlas Real Estate Partners and JP Morgan Global Real Assets. In these roles, Benjie created the investment strategy for over 30 mixed-use urban assets, implementing the leasing, management, development, financing, and valuation of each asset. Benjie started his career as a Real Estate Capital Markets at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers.
Benjie is thoroughly knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate valuation, development, financing, and syndication and is an active member of the Tufts and Dartmouth Real Estate Networks and the Bay Village Neighborhood Association. Benjie holds a BA, summa cum laude, from Tufts University and an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business where he graduated as Tuck Scholar, was a recipient of the Julia Stell Award for Leadership and was President of the Real Estate Club. He resides in Bay Village, Boston with his fiancé Anna.
